On the 13th of November dad entered a picture of me into a competition at his photography club. He doesn’t take it too seriously and, as he put it, he had run out of holiday snapshots to enter! That wasn’t strictly true – my photo was a holiday snapshot from our stop in Tenerife on the way back from South Africa earlier in the year.

You might have already seen the picture on my post about the South Africa holiday. Anyway – here it is

Much to dad’s amazement the image scored a 9 (out of a possible 10). I don’t see why he was surprised – how can a judge resist a cuddly teddy bear? Mind you, he says the other members were not impressed because I scored more than their insects, birds and street photography.

Dad goes to the club in Farnborough
